Does this screw to the bottom of the existing foot on the 100-400mm? So it doesn't REPLACE the original foot, but just converts the original foot to arca, right?
Correct, a plate that attaches to the foot.

What are the dimensions of the Fujifilm MLP-75XF Metal Lens Quick Release plate?
The plate will not work in an Arca Swiss type clamp. It is too narrow. Not sure why Fuji made this plate this way. I know of no clamp or head that will take it.
