Canon WP-DC55 Reviews
Love It! Beautiful photos!
I bought this from B&H back in 2021 or 2022. I've taken it snorkeling multiple times and most recently scuba diving. I absolutely love it! I'm a novice and don't know a ton about photography but have been able to get some great shots with this camera and housing. One of the images above (if they went through) was taken by a friend with a GoPro, it's me using this housing while snorkeling with sharks!
Don’t be me
I mistakenly bought the housing for the Canon G7 X, which is the Mark I model, rather than this one for the G7 X Mark II. So I broke the back screen when closing it for the first time. B&H replaced the housing for the small difference in item cost. Canon helped with the repair. And both got everything back to me in time for our trip to the BVI. An experienced diver recommended diving first without the camera inside the case. I put a paper towel inside to judge any leakage. There was none. Camera fits snug but easily. All controls operate perfectly. First dive with camera went perfectly. I can highly recommend the case, B&H and Canon.
