The Sequel Men's Snow Helmet in matte white from Smith Optics is designed for safety and comfort while skiing, snowboarding, or participating in other winter sports. Its in-mold polycarbonate shell and EPS polyurethane inner liner combine to meet both ASTM F 2040 and CE EN 1077:2077 Class B certifications. The Boa Fit System provides both forward and lateral fit adjustment, allowing for a snug fit that eliminates helmet hot spots. Boa provides an intuitive dial system for on-the-fly micro adjustments.
Working in conjunction with the durable nylon snap-buckle chin strap are removable snapfit SL ear pads for enhanced warmth. The sides of these ear pads that face the wearer are perforated, making them compatible with a range of helmet audio chips, and while not listening to music, allows for better hearing than with closed ear pads.
For easy climate control, eighteen fixed vents maximize airflow and heat dissipation in warm temperatures while minimizing cold air drafts. These vents integrate with Smith Optics goggles to provide the benefit of the Smith Optics AirEvac 2 ventilation system which eliminates fogging by driving warm air away from the goggles through external vents and internal channels in the performance liner. A rear goggle lock secures any eye protection worn with this snow helmet and is user-removable.
