Can this be used to cover gimbal connection on inspire 2?

Amir, not this cap only fits on the Inspire 1 and Osmo series cameras/gimbals.

Can this item be used to protect the Osmo Z Axis' connections when not in use?

I do own a z-axis and was concerned that it would not work, because the version of this cover that came with the inspire 1 X3 camera would not fit (it had extra ribs inside the cover) This version does in fact fit the Z-axis but it seems a little tighter, probably good because the last one fell off and got lost
