question

I am looking for a 4K monitor for my iMac18,3 that can take advantage of Thunderbolt 3. Should I wait for a new model?
Asked by: Gene
The LG 27UD68-P 27 16:9 4K UHD IPS Monitor B&H # LG27UD68P would work without issue over Thunderbolt 3 using a cable like the B&H # STCDP2DPMM1M. Waiting for a new model would be a personal decision. question

Is this a glossy or a mate display? How good woud this monitor be (blacks uniformity) for a basement use
Asked by: Michal
If you are referring to screen reflectivity, it is a matte display doesn't reflect much ambient light at all. The blacks are very uniform so it should do well for your application.

question

What is the resolution when using the Thunderbolt 2 on 13 MacBook Pro Retina Late 2013? And using a HDMI cable?
Asked by: Howard L.
4K at 30p or 1080 at 60p30p is very choppy when working on a laptop, so I'd really only recommend running at 4K when watching video.
