Featuring a 1/2" progressive-scan sensor, the Q16 Series 1080p Outdoor Bullet Camera from Axis Communications captures high-quality video at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 30 fps. A mechanical IR cut filter allows the camera to capture clear footage at night. The 4.4-10mm varifocal lens allows for a large viewing area and the wide dynamic range provides a clean image in both low and high lighting conditions.
This camera has Axis Arctic Temperature Control to ensure safe start-up in extreme cold (-40°F), and it can power up following a power failure. Heaters are placed in direct contact with the camera and the front window. Additionally, this camera features a dual shell to help facilitate air flow as well as regulate the temperature. The dual shell is made up of an internal shell that stores heat in cold environments and an aluminum outer shell to help cool the camera efficiently with the help of built-in fans. This camera is IP66-rated for outdoor use, NEMA 4X-rated for protection against dust, water, and ice, and IK10-rated for impact resistance.
Electronic image stabilization improves video quality when the camera is subject to vibrations. Axis Zipstrem technology analyzes and optimizes the H.264 video stream in real time to save bandwidth and storage while maintaining high image quality. A microphone input allows audio capture, while a line output lets you attach an external speaker. ONVIF compliance makes this camera compatible with other ONVIF cameras and devices. A wall mount bracket and sun-shield are included.
