The Arrisun 5 HMI PAR Kit from Arri includes the Arrisun 5 HMI 575W PAR, 50’ Head to Ballast Cable, 4-Leaf Barndoor Set for Arri T1 Fresnel, 5 Drop-In Lens Set, 505395 Lens Case, and EB 575/1200 ALF/DMX HS Ballast.
The Arrisun 5 HMI 575W PAR is a workhorse on location. Whenever punch- or bounce-light is required on a set, an Arrisun is the answer. In developing the light, the interaction of lamp, reflector, and converter lens was taken into consideration and computer simulated, resulting in optimum light performance. A wide range of optional converter lenses ensure maximum beam control in all situations.
The 50' long cable is compatible with 575, 1200 and 1800W heads such as the Arrisun 5, 12 Plus, 18, and 40/25 heads. It's also compatible with the Arrimax M18, the ARRI X X5, X12, D5, and D12 Fresnels, and the compact 575 and 1200 heads.
The 4-Leaf Barndoor Set fits the T1 Location Fresnel. Barndoors attach to the front of a light and are used to restrict light from areas of a set. The barndoors are heat resistant and rotatable.
The lens set includes Spot (10°), Narrow Flood (10 x 20°), Flood (20 x 45°), Super Flood (50°), and Frosted Fresnel lenses. It enables more precision in beam placement when fitted onto the fixture.
The 505395 Lens Case is a custom foam padded ATA transit case made to carry and ship an Arri 5 lens set for Arrisun 5 Par light. The case is made from ABS plastic laminated over 1/4" plywood.
The EB 575/1200 ALF/DMX HS Ballast features the ALF (Automatic Line Filter) and DMX controller for efficient power utilization. This IP22 rated ballast comes in a blue housing and features an international (VEAM) lamphead connector. In addition, the ballast offers lamp frequencies of 50, 75, and 1000 Hz.

The ARRI 575/1200W High-Speed Electronic Ballast is designed for use with ARRI 575W or 1200W HMI luminaries for high-speed photography. The ballast operates at 1000 Hz rather than the typical 50 to 200 Hz. It incorporates ALF (Active Line Filter), CCL (Compensation of Cable Losses), and DMX control.
