Great tactical spotting scope

Its rugged and crystal clear as Vortex is known. The size scale is helpful and the large aperture helps find your target quickly. I've found it very useful in the field hiking and out hunting.

I never give anything 5 stars or a 10 out of 10. Always room to improve. Besides that this is a great tool to have in your gear. I'm not a bino fan so this is a great way to get awawy form having those. The glass is really crisp and clear. Having the ranging silhouettes is amazing and works great if you can judge the height of what you are looking at. The one thing I am not that happy about is the rear rubber eye guard. You can fold it down but in time I believe it will tear.

Excellent, very well-designed monocular that is definitely feature rich and of high quality. Big fan of the fact it is made in Japan, so I know it's from one of the big two factories there. Ease of manipulation with one or both hands and it's nice the covers came with it. The only hiccup can be placement of the eye shroud, but that will be mitigated with specific use and setup.

The glass is clear. The only thing I would knock it would be the reticle is not as clear on the outer edges. I have only used a few times so far. I like the reticle better than the Bushnell.

Crisp clear visuals with comfortable and rugged exterior. Packs well and is quick to deploy. Packs with me everywhere I go for rapid glassing.

Great little monocular with decent rangeing reticle. It is a little stiff with the focus ring.

This thing is amazing. solid enough to be stable with one hand to range, small enough to fit on belt and be out of the way, clear enough to have full usage well into twilight. Grab it when you can! This is good for beginner and expert as the mrad is easy to use.
