Made of injection-molded ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, this SKB Cases 3i-Series 3424-12 Wheeled Waterproof Utility Case is built to withstand the most extreme and demanding shipping and handling conditions on the planet. The large 34.5 x 24.5 x 12.75" interior is completely empty, so you can customize it to your needs using an optional interior foam and dividers set or your own creativity and materials. Three snap lock handles provide carrying options, or you can use the fourth larger side handle and tow the case behind you on its wheels if it's too heavy to carry.
Design features include gasket sealing that makes the case dust and waterproof, a molded-in hinge for added strength, seven stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and seven trigger release latches arrayed in pairs on two sides and a set of three on the front that seal the interior tight. The case is further resistant to a variety of hazards that you may encounter such as impacts, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, solvents, corrosion, and even fungi. A pressure relief valve comes into play especially during air transport by regulating the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop.
This case is made in the USA and as with all of their ATA-rated hard cases, SKB will cover up to $1500 to repair or replace equipment damaged by a commercial airline carrier while secured in the case, no registration required
