Using the included 360° rotatable clip, attach the 1080p HD Elite Infrared Body Worn Camera from Patrol Eyes to your clothes, backpack, or bag for continuous, hands-free recording. The camera features a maximum resolution of 1080p at 30 fps, however, it can record in a variety of resolutions at various frame rates to conserve battery life and storage space. Automatic IR capability provides night vision at a distance of up to 32', and a 145° field of view enables you to capture a wide coverage area. The device also comes with a 23MP camera for taking still images. Images can be taken while the camera is recording, and you can take burst shot images in groups of three or five images at a time.
A 2" TFT LCD color display allows you to conveniently view recordings directly on the camera. You can fast forward and rewind in three speeds, and time/date stamps are embedded on each video along with a unique 6 digit device ID and 6 digit user ID. An administrative password can be set so that you can delete footage via software. Otherwise, users can only view videos but cannot delete them. Video formatting is in .MOV and photo formatting is in .JPG. A built-in HDD with 64GB of preinstalled storage offers edge recording, and the device can be set to record based on motion detection to maximize your storage. There is an HDMI 1.3 port for video output to larger screens, as well as a USB 2.0 interface for transferring footage to a computer or DVR.
The camera features a built-in lithium battery that can provide up to 6 hours of recordings. The battery is easily removable, allowing you to switch it with another battery for longer lifespans. The package also includes a car charger, USB charger, wall charger, and a charging station which can charge both your camera and an addition battery simultaneously. Waterproof in depths of up to 3' and drop proof up to 10', the camera is durable for long-lasting use. The device supports an external button camera (available separately) for covert applications or a wide-angle lens version for a lower profile setup.
