Blending the traditional look and feel of a silver halide darkroom paper with a true 100% cotton fibre base, Epson's Legacy Platine Paper will help artists and photographers create vivid images with a wide color gamut and deep blacks. Available here as a 25-pack of 13 x 19" sheets, the smooth satin paper will provide a durable surface to work with, featuring a basis weight of 314 gsm and a thickness of 17 mil. Also, it forgoes the use of optical brightening agents to ensure longevity and as a side effect, provides a more natural color with a brightness of 85% and a whiteness of 82%. Legacy Platine Paper (13 x 19", 25 Sheets) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent But Over Priced I have run this paper on an Epson 4900. The finish, D- Max, highlights and feel are great. It is a superb exhibition quality media for the finest of work. The packaging, especially in the 17x22 size, is a bit over the top. It is huge, perhaps pretentious, most importantly awkward in my studio's editing space. The real problem is cost vs benefit. Thus the four stars. I use Canson's platine rag and dry mounted under museum grade glass I get the same fine results. What else can one say? Check the price difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paper. It has that special something. New papers are a dime a dozen, but Legacy Platine stands out. It's similar to, but different from Legacy Baryta and Exhibition Fiber. The finish is a little finer, the paper itself has a little more heft, there's something about it that's hard to define. This is the paper for my best images.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Portrait Paper Yet I've used a lot of papers over the years and this one for a pearl like finish is the best I've found. I used it with both the Epson P800 and the older 3880. The P800 inkset had a slight advantage but the Platine made the 3880 prints the best I've seen from that inkset yet.
