What "Media Type" setting is best on a Canon PRO-1100 printer for Epson Legacy Fibre?
Asked by: Richard
The Epson Legacy Fibre Paper (17" x 50' Roll) (B&H# EPLEFR1750) does not have a manufacturer-made ICC profile for printing on it using competitor-brand printers. However, if you are using the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 Professional 17" Wireless Inkjet Photo Printer (B&H# CAIPP1100) then we would try the paper profile for Canon Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte, sold here at B&H as Canon PM-101 Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte (13 x 19", 50 Sheets) (B&H# CAPM1011950).

question

does this paper compatible with Epson R3000 printer?
Asked by: Anonymous
It uses the K3 inks, so I expect that it will run those papers. As said below, if you get the icc profile for the paper (at Epson, online), you should not have problems. If the paper's icc profiles don't include the R3000, then you might plan otherwise, but looking into the Epson website should access profiles for downloading.
