Characterized by versatile imaging specs, the Canon EOS 80D further clarifies itself using a pair of robust focusing systems and an intuitive design. Featuring a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor, this sleek DSLR is capable of capturing high-resolution images at up to 7 fps and Full HD 1080p60 video, both with reduced noise and high sensitivity up to an expanded ISO 25600 for working in difficult lighting conditions. When working with the optical viewfinder, an apt 45-point all cross-type AF system affords fast performance in a range of lighting conditions for tracking moving subjects and working in low light, while the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system benefits live view shooting and movie recording by providing a smooth, natural focusing quality akin to the way a camcorder acquires focus. Touch-to-focus is availed by the large 3.0" 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD, which also sports a swiveling vari-angle design for working from high and low angles with ease. Additionally, built-in Wi-Fi with NFC allows you to pair mobile devices with the camera to wirelessly transfer files for sharing your photos and movies online. More than just a well-connected DSLR, the 80D is equally matched in imaging versatility due to its inclusion of multimedia feature-sets for stills shooting and movie recording.

As this camera has just been announced, this information is not yet available to us. I recommend checking out user-review sites such as DP Review for user tests to see if this is something being tested by users of this camera.

Has anyone had a probem with Canon 80D/Tamron 150-600 combination? I heard there may be some auto-focus problems.

There should not be any autofocus related issues with the Tamron 150-600mm lens (for Canon) and this camera.

I gave a 24-105, 17-55, and an 85. To complete my set up it seems I need a longer zoom. Comments/suggestions?
Asked by: Susan
I am an amateur photographer. I keep a Tamron 16-300mm on most of the time. It was affordable, does a great job, and I don't need to carry multiple lenses. Hope this helps.

this 80d suitable for wedding photography ? what if i comparing this to nikon d7200 which one is best for wedding photography ?
Asked by: mani
If full frame camera bodies are not an option, I would go more towards the D7200 for wedding photography. However, I would strongly suggest looking at full frame body options for wedding photography. Please email us at photo@ for in-depth support.

What memory card specifications are needed for the maximum 7 fps? B&H is offering a SanDisk 32GB Extreme UHS-I SDHC Memory Card free with purchase. Will that be sufficient? Also, I have a Lexar 600x Speed - is that enough? Thanks.
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, the card that is offered will be fully compatible. The Lexar card you have will also work fine. Both will utilize the 7 fps.
