Based on Zeiss ZF.2 optics, the PRIME CIRCLE XM 25mm f/2.0 Lens from LockCircle covers full-frame sensors with a cine-style housing, featuring expanded focus markings for accurate focus control. The lens sports manual focus and iris and incorporates a Canon EF (EOS) mount, which can be swapped out for a Nikon F mount (not included).
This rehousing of the ZF.2 still lens creates a cine-style lens complete with dual focus scales, one on each side of the lens, and adds a cine-style geared focus ring. The lens itself has a maximum diameter of 97mm with a front outer diameter of 95mm, making it compatible with many matte boxes. Each lens in the PRIME CIRCLE XM series features a 95mm diameter front for quick lens swaps.
Featuring Zeiss still photo optics that have been rehoused into a cinema-style lens that is engineered to withstand the rigors of cinema production. The lens maintains the full-frame coverage of its original still photo construction, making it suitable for use with DSLRs as well as digital cinema cameras with EF mounts.
The XM lenses feature manual aperture control to go along with the manual focus ring. Both the iris and focus control rings incorportate 0.8 MOD cinema-style gears.
The cinema-style housing provides expanded focus scales on both sides of the lens, so your focus puller can work on either side of the camera and still enjoy highly accurate focus marks.
The lens incorporates an M 90 x 1.0 front filter thread.
