    Olight I3E-BLACK reviews

I3E EOS Flashlight (Black) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 368.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Maglite will be better but LED only This little light is small and powerfully BUT..... Unlike the madlite LED that you screw the end closed and turns the light off while in your pocket and will not turn on without a hard swist. This little light is the same, it is loose with OFF, and can either unscrew completely and fall apart with the battery falling out and the lense off. OR if spins the otherway will turn on, inside you pocket and drain the battery fast and next time you need some light will not work at all. Strange back to front design but the Maglite this can not happen. You Tighten the maglite to turn OFF, and the end is secure and cant move, this is the opposite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looked so good I bought 2, I should have bought 10! This is truly one of the first Next Generation LED flashlights I seen in this Form Factor. I spend allot of money on Quality LED Flashlights for all of the obvious reasons. Well these let me keep those $$$$ in a safe place when I just need a Great Bright Light of a small task. I have one attached to my Travel Backpack, and one attached to my Travel Brief Case. I can leave the more expensive lights in my vehicle or home for when I know I'll need extended Run Time or a larger Light Source. Top Quality, equal to the larger units out there!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where's the beef I'm glad this FREE flashlight that came with my Nikon Aculon Rangerfinder was in some sort of packaging or it would have been lost in the box that the order was shipped in. It's barely larger than a double A battery. U screw the head down to turn it on and unscrew to turn it off. The thing will probably wound up lost before it gets used. On the upside, the little beam is fairly powerful and annoys the devil out of someone when u shine it in their eyes :) If you're seriously looking a nice flashlight, I wouldn't look at this one, unless you're vertically impaired, need a new key chain or want one to hang on a necklace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tiny, powerful flashlight. Did I mention it was tiny? I got this flashlight for free with an order, and the photo online made it look much bigger than the tiny thing I pulled out of the package. The light uses a AAA battery and it is literally just a little bit larger than the battery. However, it makes a surprisingly strong amount of light for such a small flashlight -- really amazing, actually. The specs say that the flashlight will run for several minutes on a single AAA battery. I haven't tested this, but I can say that the beam of light is far too intense to look straight into it. I could not have imagined that such a small device could make so much light. The flashlight is small enough that you can carry it in your pocket or on a keychain and scarcely know it's there. Years ago, I used to carry around a small flashlight that used a AA battery. It had an incandescent bulb that ran for about a minute on a single AA battery. Yet I carried it in my pocket for a few years because if often had to check equipment in dark corners and needed to have a light. This tiny LED light with its AAA battery is MUCH brighter and lasts MUCH longer. If you want a weensy little flashlight that makes a surprising amount of light, this is the flashlight to get.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh This came as a freebie with a purchase and I think I know why. First, the battery that came with it was dead (and leaking). No a big deal but more significant is the design failure. You slightly unscrew the head to turn it on and tighten it to turn it off. What kind of foolish design is that? This is a keychain light and will easily turn itself on in a pocket or purse. Finally, this is a two-handed operation once outside the pocket. The light output is as expected from a AAA inexpensive light - it'll provide enough light to find something you dropped and the like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great little mini EDC flashlight. I Do love this little Olight EDC flashlight.  It puts out about 90 lumens which is very potent for this small a light.  I gave it five stars because of the quality of the light itself and its output.  Sadly though, B&H tried to correct an issue but failed in their attempt.  The website has a small chain with a clasp on it to help to place it on yourself.  None of the lights they sent me had the chain even though the website has picture of it.  Ive resigned myself to the task of figuring out how to make an attachment of some sort to replace the chain.  I honestly do praise B&H for their efforts to correct the problem.  Thanks for your good effort B&H. ( Its a great little light.  Get one chain or no chain. )

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Keychain light to use as backup I got this mini flashlight as a gift with my purchase of a Surefire Sidekick. Easily, one of the best gift-with-purchase deals I've ever gotten. You'll be amazed at how much light this little light puts out (all 90 lumens of it). It produces a rather cool-white beam, which makes it easy to distinguish the colors of different objects in the dark. It has a very good balance between throw and spill. It's so small and light, you'll even forget you're carrying it. This little light can definitely blow the flashlight on your cellphone out of the water. It uses a AAA battery which is cheap and readily available at many stores. The flashlight might be cheap, but it doesn't feel or look like it. It's even waterproof!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small and light but there are better B&H threw this in as a freebie with a Vixen monocular, so no complaints. I love single-AAA flashlights and always carry one, usually my beloved Klarus Mi10. I also own three others, including a brass version of the I3E. Unlike this Olight, the Klarus offers three brightness settings (plus a silly strobe) which makes it more useful where a discreet light or a long run-time is required. Nevertheless, this aluminium version of the I3E is bright whilst being smaller and lighter than any of my other four. At 61x14 mm, it really does just weight 19 g with an alkaline battery.
