Fits both my steel tanks. I still have a bit of leakage when the tank is inverted (I do more of a half inversion). But less leakage than I had with steel lids. Can be taken apart for thorough cleaning.

The cover is a pretty basic item, and it does its job of keeping a variety of stainless steel tanks from leaking too much. Probably the cover wouldn't stand up to years of hard use, but it's adequate for what I need.

Is this soft rubber similar to Kindermann, or more rigid?
Haven't used Kindermann, but I found it to be the perfect rigidity. A good match for my old Omega lid.
