Stainless Steel Film Clips (Pack of 10) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but could be better I bought these clips to dry 4x5 negatives. They clip mechanism works great, holding the negatives firmly without marking them (I find many second hand clips have exhausted springs and do not properly hold onto the negative). I would mention however that the slots cut into the ring from which the clip hangs varies for each clip and none of the twenty that I bought look like the one in the picture. Whereas the slot in the pictured clip is narrow and positioned near the base of the ring, the slots in the clips that I received are much wider, and sometimes so wide that the clip tends to fall off if moved. While not a deal breaker, it can be a pain and it is something I would have liked to have known before I made my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent for the price Started by using these for hanging film and they do ok. They add plenty of weight to the bottom to keep the film flat (I use two on medium format film) but I'm not so crazy about using these on the top to hang the film. I squeegee my roll film after hanging and the clips don't have a good grasp like my clips that have the two pins that pierce the film. Outside of that they are perfect if you are hanging sheet film.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could I have used clothes pins...? ...Yes, but these just look cooler. I didn't know what I was expecting when I bought it, but I'm content. The drawbacks are that they are really light and the hooks are flimsy and a bit sharp - keep away from children and soft-skinned. I usually clip three together to hang on the bottom of a roll when drying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to put onto the corner of 4x5 film Inexpensive. Does what it is intended. Compact on a rack. Films stay on well. I might not want to use this on long 35mm films since if you use a wiper after photo-flo dip you might pull the film off the clip. I might prefer a small pin on the tip to perforate the film giving more security.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Film Clips - Inexpensive and Very Useful Hanging up 35mm film can be tricky. These clips come really inexpensively and make the job very easy. You use one to hang the roll and two at the bottom to keep the film from curling up. They work as advertised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They Do the Job These little clips are cheap and the do the job! The only down side is they leave a mark on the corner where you clip the negative. That's usually outside the image area, so not a big deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it's supposed to do I use one on top for hanging and two on the bottom for each film so that the film doesn't curl up. Could have more weight so that doesn't have to use two at the bottom to pull it down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back to film. After deciding to go back to developing film I needed new equipment. I saw these clips and decided to try them. I find them nice and small with a very a strong spring and smooth jaws that holds onto the film quite well but does not damage it like some of the larger clips do. The loop opening is large enough to fit over a 1/4 inch rod or line. I find them very easy to use in hanging film for drying. The clips are lightweight but have enough weight to hold the film straight until dry.
