Gerber added their Assisted Opening 2.0 technology to this knife's predecessor to create the Mini Swagger AO Folding Knife. This technology is activated by pushing on one of the dual thumb studs and then the spring takes over, flipping the 2.75" straight edge drop point blade open. Gerber selected 7Cr17MoV stainless steel for the blade because of its resistance to rust and edge holding abilities, and then coated it with a black titanium nitride-coating to reduce unwanted reflection and defend against corrosion. A plunge lock design keeps your fingers out of the way when closing the blade, and permits one-handed operation. The contoured, textured G10 handle features grooves for added grip. Tip-down carry is accomplished via the pocket clip.
