This Fielder Drop Point Folding Knife from SOG features a durable, 3.3" straight-edge 7CR17 stainless steel blade that flips out of a 4.5" wood and aluminum-alloy handle. When fully closed or fully opened, the blade is kept in place with a liner lock. This mechanism, along with the blade's thumb stud, combines to allow for easy, one-handed blade deployment or retraction.
The blade's shiny, mirror-polish finish provides a smooth, reflective look that is corrosion-resistant as the handle's wood and aluminum-alloy composition creates a brown and silver, two-tone color pattern. The aluminum-alloy is durable and lightweight while the grain and brown color of the wood help to impart additional visual contrast. A fixed belt clip provides a convenient carrying option.
