I've been using these for a few months now. I have them filled with tiny glass microbeads, and none of them have leaked. They sit nicely on my C-Stands and keep everything stable.

Durable saddle bag

This is a great little saddle bag perfect for weighing down stands and tripods. I use this for both my tripod when I need the added security for my tripod and for my light stands to prevent incidents. The bag is solidly made with a durable double zipper feature which is a great alternative to the typical single zipper with velcro models which I've had issues in the past with accidentally pulling off the zipper. Great to have the added peace of mind knowing that redundancy has been built in to keep your production moving along rather than wasting time fiddling with gear.

I really like the little 5 pound sandbags. There small and easy to transport. Often times, they're just enough counterweight for my light stands. Carrying anything larger becomes a chore considering all of the other gear that I transport.

I have not yet had the chance to use this sandbag yet, but the quality of it's construction is excellent! Just wondering though, why they felt it necessary to have an outer and an inner zipper for the pouch part?

How durable are these bags? I've had bags break upon a gentle toss. Will these sandbags withstand a toss on a stage?

I've had mine a year or two and they've survived many tosses with no signs of wear. They're very well made. The most important thing is to put the sand in sealed plastic bags with gaff tape before inserting into the nylon sand bag - you'll have no leaks that way even if the nylon starts to wear out.

Box dimensions, please?

Not sure what you mean by box dimensions but the order came in a small bag. All 6 are empty and folded. They altogether measure @ 5' (thickness of all 6) x 13 x 9 , unfilled. How much sand you need to fill the bags depends on how much weight you are trying to hold in place. There should be a formula for this somewhere.. now I need a trip to the beach!
