Key Features
  • 3.4" Clip Point, Folding Blade
  • 9CR18MOV Stainless Steel Construction
  • Partially-Serrated Blade
  • Bead-Blasted Finish
Designed for versatility, even in emergencies, this Escape Clip Point Folding Knife from SOG features a durable, 3.4" partially-serrated 9CR18MOV stainless steel blade that flips out of a 4.8" 6061-T6 anodized-aluminum handle. The back of the handle features an integrated line cutter that can be used to slice through string, cords, or if needed, seatbelts. Built into the butt is a glass breaker in case the path to safety lies through a closed or locked window; and three holes within the handle accommodate wires or cables with American wire gauge sizes of 4, 5, and 6. These holes allow the blade to cut though wiring or remove their thick insulation in a safe and controlled manner by utilizing both the handle itself and the blade's folding action. Wires or cables inserted into these holes allow for precise placement of the blade edge when it is folded against them. Simultaneously, leverage against the wire or cable is optimized while user exposure to the blade is minimized. When closed or fully opened, the blade is reliably kept in place using a lockback mechanism. This mechanism, along with the blade's thumb stud, combines to allow for easy blade deployment.

SOG FF24-CP Overview

The blade features serrations that can be used to cut rope or coarse textiles and its bead-blasted finish provides a textured, non-reflective look. The ergonomic, aluminum-alloy handle is durable while remaining lightweight and its anodized finish resists corrosion as well as scratches. Jimping positioned along the spine of the handle improves thumb stability and pressing force for forward grips; and a removable handle plate allows the Escape to store a spare line cutter blade.

This SOG Escape Clip Point Folding Knife is distributed by the manufacturer within clamshell packaging.
