The Photograher's Formulary 102 paper developer, is a glycin-based paper developer that is similar in properties to Edwal 102. Prints developed in Formulary 102 have neutral cold tones with a smooth gradation.
The developer produces good blacks with normal to slightly soft contrast. The prints are softer than those obtained using Formulary 130.
Formulary 102 does not contain metol; therefore this developer is suitable for photographers with a sensitivity to metol.
The stock solution has a shelf life of 3 to 4 months and is diluted 1:3 to make the working solution. The working solution has high capacity, but unfortunately, is short-lived.
