B&H has put together this Angler 22" Beauty Dish Reflector Kit to allow photographers to realize the full potential of this unique light modifier. The kit contains a 22" white Beauty Dish, Honeycomb Grid, and a Diffuser Sock.
The Angler Beauty Dish gets its name from the popularity of this light shaper with fashion and portrait photographers. Recommended for strobes, the light source is bounced off of a centrally positioned deflector and directed to fill the neutral white reflector interior. The result is a signature soft dispersed look, but with crispness that's ideal for hair and makeup and not attainable with umbrellas and softboxes. An added feature is the natural-looking catchlights that appear in the subject's eyes.
