The Alta Pro 253CT Carbon Fiber Tripod with SBH-250 Ball Head from Vanguard is a B&H Kit consisting of a set of lightweight carbon fiber tripod legs paired with a high capacity ball head.
The carbon fiber 253CT legs provide a lightweight but very sturdy and versatile camera support at just 2.9 lb. The tripod has a maximum load capability of 15.4 lb, extends to 69.7", and folds down to only 29.5" with the attached ball head.
The center column features a tilting bracket which can rotate a full 360 degrees from a standard vertical position. It is a key feature to help you position the tripod and your equipment at unusual angles. Plus, the column is spring loaded to provide your equipment with protection against shocks. The column comes with a retractable weight hook from which you can attach a gear bag or removable stone bag (not included) for added stability.
The three-section legs are quickly secured into their position with one-twist leg locks and integrated rubber feet with retractable spikes help secure the legs on rough terrain.
The included SBH-250 Ball Head is compact at 4.7" tall, lightweight at just 20.5 oz and features 2 bubble levels for precise adjustments. It features a dual safety locking system on the integrated quick release clamp and dual knob locking mechanisms - one for general positioning, one for fine tuning.
