MultiCart R6G Thumbs Up

This is my 3rd MultiCart in recent days. I purchased the R12 initially, but it was larger than expected for my intended purpose, but I'll keep it because it could be handy for other jobs. I then ordered the Micro, but it was way too small, so I gave that one up to my day job company to use. I then ordered the R6G and it was perfect. I also purchased the Floor for it as well as the end bag with bottom support for mic stands and speaker stands. Very solid sturdy cart. I'm sure it will be extremely handy.

Was hoping for a little better

Not bad, not great. First the good. Does a good job of moving gear. It gets over rough terrain fairly well. It holds a pretty decent amount of gear. Folds down pretty small. Now, the not so good. Overall build/finish is poor/rough. No effort was made to sand down rough ends of the bars etc. You could cut yourself on the metal spurs. Front casters are not balanced. Meaning the wheels don't spins symmetrically. Not even close. The wheel locks are really bad and only one sort of works. The directions let you know the nuts that secure the front wheels will work their way loose. Careful! When changing the length, there aren't any set holes for the screws. So you are relying on the friction of the screws against the frame. This will damage the finish and allow rust and could easily fail. The handles wobble. Would be nice if they were set in place as they feel insecure. It definitely feels like it will bite you when setting it up or breaking it down. Pay attention or you could end up with a busted finger. The assembly instructions were kinda junk but you'll figure it out. You will need a some tools AND GREASE. In summary, Don't let the cool yellow paint fool you. It's a cheaply made tool. But it will be useful to carry your gear.
