The monocular features a digital night vision sensor, which provides black and white images and has inherent immunity to bright light and daylight. This means that unlike intensifier tube devices, you don't have to worry about accidentally exposing it to bright light while it is on – thus, the sensor will not be damaged. While the optical system offers 2x magnification with a notable close-up and 12° field of view, the 3.3' minimum focusing distance allows you to observe objects or animals at a very close range. To help you to extend a range or to cast extra light in complete darkness, the monocular also features a built-in infrared illuminator. To adjust image brightness to your liking, the control menu offers adjustable gain and infrared illumination.
Weighing only 7 ounces, without the batteries, the monocular offers no excuses to be left at home.
