This B&H Kit consists of a Blackmagic Design Hyperdeck Studio 2 and a 250GB SSD, which provides you with a rack mountable SD/HD record/playback deck and an SSD drive ready to record from your camera. The SSD supports a sustained write speed of up to 430Mb/s and even faster read speeds.
The HyperDeck Studio 2 supports 10-bit video and features familiar VTR-style manual control buttons and jog wheel. It can be controlled remotely via RS-422 commands. Incorporating two SSD slots, the Studio 2 can record continuously by switching from the full drive to an empty drive without dropping a frame. It supports SD and HD video with one 3G-SDI input and three 3G-SDI outputs.
