The Transformer DSLR Rig, Handle, & Extenders Kit from ALZO Digital provides an extendable frame (with a top handle) for mounting your DSLR and accessories. In addition to the Transformer DSLR Rig, this kit includes two height extenders and a bracket handle. This tripod-mountable bracket also functions as a handheld rig and has two integrated, rubber-padded handgrips. Use the two included extenders to add 1.5" to the bracket height when using a large battery or other bulky accessories with your DSLR. The top rail of the bracket includes nine mounting holes which can be used with the three included shoe mounts. The two end shoe mounts can be removed and 1/4"-20–mountable accessories can be attached in their place.
The Transformer DSLR Rig's camera baseplate is offset to the rear for better balance when using a zoom (or other heavy lens) and also to accommodate side-attached camera cables. The rig's baseplate features a sliding mounting screw for balancing the camera. The Transformer DSLR Rig provides unobstructed battery access for most DSLRs, including the Canon 5D/7D/60D, and Nikon D7000/D3100/D5100.

This durable aluminum camera rig features an open design that allows you to access all the ports and plugs on your camera, and even leaves access to your battery on the bottom.
Your camera mounts snugly onto the base using a 1/4"-20 screw, which can slide along a slot for balancing the camera in the rig. The rig is tall enough to leave clearance on top for a small camera-mounted accessory. There are multiple 1/4"-20 threads around the rig to mount a variety of accessories such as a wireless transmitter, light, microphone, or handgrip. Accessory mounting options also include three shoe mounts; one that can be repositioned and the other two on the ends can be removed if you'd prefer to use their 1/4"-20 threads instead. A stainless steel 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom allows you to mount the rig onto a tripod or optional quick release plate.
The side grips are lined with rubber, providing a comfortable and solid grip for handheld shooting. The rig is easily assembled with the included hardware kit and can be broken down for storage.
This set of two ALZO Transformer Rig Height Extenders allows you to raise the top bar of the various ALZO Transformer Rigs by 1.5". With a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on top and 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom, the extenders easily secure to the two sides of the rig and create extra space for mounting battery packs, transmitters, and various other devices and accessories.
