Just the Right Fit

I bought this harness for a wedding I was shooting. I am 5'1 and was concerned it wouldn't fit. Well this was the perfect size for my small frame. It worked like a charm and you can secure the camera in two places in case one lock fails. It was comfortable and I was able to use it for several hours without any pain. highly recommend this.

Best Strap ever

Love this strap! No more neck and back pain! It is a little stiff when you first try it on but after wearing for awhile it becomes softer. Only down side, which is not a big deal, is the tiny pieces of leather that it leaves on your shirt. other than that great strap! i would buy one of every color if i could!

Not perfect but not bad

I have been using the spider holster for a little over a year and could never get used to it. My back felt better but I would spend the night pulling up my pants, readjusting the holster and trying to get it to fit right, but it would just keep inching it's way down. It would only lower several inches but that was enough to make it uncomfortable. After one particularly long job I had it and vowed to find another solution and that's when I decided to try the Money Maker. The money maker puts more pressure on the back than the spider holster but it's not as bad as a strap and I don't have to constantly keep pulling it up and readjusting it like the spider holster. I did drop my d750 while trying to reattach the camera but fortunately it was before a job and it only fell a foot or two onto my coach, so, if I can give one piece of advice it's to use the safety leash, at least until you feel comfortable attaching and detaching your camera. One thing that the money maker and spider holster share is a distinct lack of freedom. It's not like having a camera on a strap but then somethings have to sacrificed when using two cameras at once. I'll keep using this until I find something better or switch to a smaller and lighter camera system.

question

Which leather is softest/most pliable?
Asked by: Sandra N.
Holdfast Gear states that, of their options, the American Bison is definitely the softest leather; next is the water buffalo and then the bridle leather is the most stiff to start out with but softens over time.
