The 3' Hosa Technology Pro Stereo Breakout Cable - 3.5mm Stereo Mini to Dual 3-Pin XLR Male is a sturdy and reliable Y-cable that sends a stereo signal from a 1/8" (3.5mm) output to two XLR inputs, with efficient signal transfer. The cable allows for a variety of cabling options including connecting the output of a portable media player, laptop, smartphone, tablet, or similar device to a mixer or professional audio gear with XLR inputs.

The Pro Stereo Breakout cable is equipped with Neutrik REAN connectors. It features an 1/8" stereo mini plug with nickel-plated contacts and two XLR connectors with silver-plated contacts. Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) spiral shielding provides enhanced protection from interference while maintaining flexibility. The connectors' die-cast housing ensures maximum reliability and is designed for ergonomic handling.

this works great with my wireless lav receiver that combines 2 channels of audio into a stereo output. This cable isolates the two channels so I can record the channels separately into a recorder.

I'm a mobile DJ and plan to use this cable with a compact DJ controller that only has a 3.5mm main output.� I love that the XLR connections have locking slots to keep them secure to whatever they're connected to and that every connection throughout the cable seems very durable (especially at the Y).� The rubber feels nice and soft and winds up nicely.� I haven't had a chance to plug it in and listen for any noise yet.� So far i'm very impressed with it's quality and features for the price.

Great to have on hand for all recording gigs.

An economical solution

This was a good solution to using the Rode SVM for voice overs recording through the Audient iD14. Now I have a Blue Spark. The photo was before I bought the cable when I had solo channel audio from a stereo mic, due to using a XLR adapter. After the adapter, the sound was louder and better. But, not as good as the Blue Spark :) of course.

It does exactly what it needs to do, it takes the two 1&2 channels on the Rode GO and separates it into 2 XLR's into the camera ports. 3 ft of cable is a bit of a pain, I would enjoy a shorter, coiled cable.

This does the job of converting an aux output to XLR. I've purchased two of these. On the first pair the sheathing on the 3.5mm plug broke, the larger part below the second ring. I might have dropped them, maybe it was defective. Don't know either way. I did replace the broken one with the same model, though.

Yes, a cable like that can work to connect to two XLR mic inputs. The wireless Go II can use stereo output to split each channel, to be recorded on separate tracks on the Zoom F6 or H6.

Will this allow a Zoom H6 line out signal to be sent into both XLR ports of the Ursa Mini Pro camera?

Yes, the Hosa stereo mini to dual XLR cable can be used to send the line out audio from a Zoom H6 to the XLR inputs on the Ursa Mini Pro camera. Since you are sending a line level signal, make sure that you set the camera inputs for line level audio.

Will this cable split the left and right channels of a stereo output or is it the same signal coming out of both XLRs?

This cable is a breakout cable, which splits the stereo signal into mono L & R outputs. A Y cable would duplicate the signal into 2 identical outputs. Best regards, Hosa Support.

Never tried it. I've always used these for getting stereo output from an iPad or iPod into a console. Sorry I couldn't answer your question.
