The black SuperServer E200-9B System from Supermicro is a compact, embedded system. It consists of the SC101S chassis and the X11SBA-LN4F single-processor motherboard. The processing is handled by an Intel Pentium Processor N3700 SoC (System on a Chip) in the FCBGA1170 format. One 4cm system fan, plus an option for one additional 4cm fan ensures that the system remains cool.

The E200-9B supports up to 8GB of DDR3L 1.35V dual channel, non-ECC SO-DIMM RAM with frequency of up to 1600 MHz in two horizontal sockets. For expansion, the system comes with one mini-PCIe slot with mSATA support. It supports a single fixed 2.5" hard drive up to 15mm thick.

System consists of the SC101S chassis, X11SBA-LN4F single processor motherboard, and embedded Intel N3700 SoC processor
SC101S features a removable top cover to access the inside of the chassis
The front of the chassis includes a power on/off push-button, an LED status light, and a reset button
The chassis includes mounting brackets that allow it to be mounted in any convenient space in the work environment
Motherboard uses lithium-battery powered non-volatile memory to retain system information when system power is removed
JD2 header on the motherboard can be used for the external speaker (speaker not included)
General-purpose I/O expander on a pin header from Intel SoC, JGP1 header, is located near the SATA connectors on the motherboard
Disk-On-Module (DOM) power connector at JSD1 provides 5V power to a solid-state DOM storage device connected to one of the SATA ports
A 10-pin audio header located on the motherboard allows you to use the onboard sound chip (ALC888S) for audio function
JTPM1 header is used to connect a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
TPM can securely store artifacts used to authenticate the platform
4-pin power connector at JSATA1 provides power from the motherboard to internal SATA hard drive or SSD device
The X11SBA-LN4F/F has two SATA 3.0 ports that are supported by the Intel SoC
One HDMI and one DisplayPort port are located next to the IPMI_LAN port on the I/O back panel
Four LAN ports located on the I/O back panel
Two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports located on the I/O back panel
VGA controller from AST2400 can be used for BMC KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse)
Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 monitors system health information such as CPU temperature, system voltages, system power consumption, fan speed, and provides alerts via email or Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
X11SBA-LN4F supports the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) that can be used to provide remote access, monitoring, and management
