Epson 585W Overview

Brighten up your classroom presentations with the Epson PowerLite 585W 3300-Lumen WXGA Ultra-Short Throw 3LCD Projector. Its white and color brightness of 3300 lumens makes images visible in most ambient light while its 1280 x 800 native resolution and 10,000:1 contrast ratio help make those images clear and distinct. Its ultra-short 0.27 to 0.37:1 throw ratio allows you to place the projector very near the screen, preventing shadows from passers-by while you're presenting.

The PowerLite 585W will connect to most devices with its S-video, composite video, two HDMI, and VGA inputs. If you plan on using multiple projectors, the PowerLite 585W has a VGA output to daisy chain the signal. Also featured are an analog audio input and output and a built-in 16W mono speaker. For interactive applications, the PowerLite 585W will pair with the Epson SMART Board M680 and 880 interactive whiteboards using SMART Notebook software and SMART Ink. It is controllable via Ethernet, RS-232, or the included IR remote.
