I already had 12mm and 20mm extension tubes to use with my Nikon Z 105 macro lens, but I wanted greater magnification than they provided. Adding this 35mm for a total of 67mm gave me what I wanted. The FotodioX 35mm tube feels solid and does not add any play to the lens mount. Works great with the other extension tubes and a tripod mounted focusing rail to provide up to ~1.6x magnification.

I have an a 40mm to 150mm lenses and this extension allows me to easily convert the lens into a macro lens. This is a great deal cheaper than purchasing another lens. Plus it takes amazing macro pictures.

How well do these tubes work with the Fuji GF 50mm? Is it possible to get a 1:1 reproduction ratio?

The focusing distance on the GF 50mm lens on its own is 1.8 feet, so the FotodioX 20mm Pro Automatic Macro Extension Tube for FUJIFILM G-Mount may bring the reproduction ratio beyond 1:1.

While it may be compatible with this lens, know that your focal distance is going to be very short, especially at minimum distance where you’ll get the most magnification. It may be difficult to photograph anything without a ring flash attached to the end of your lens, because the lens will cast a shadow on the subject, even with a standard flash. Unless you know you want this much extension, consider trying a much shorter tube(s) first.
