Pairing a 23.6" slider with a flat base fluid head, the Manfrotto Camera Slider 60cm and MVH500AH Fluid Head Kit from B&H is a portable solution for adding short-length tracking shots and subtle motion to your videos. The slider itself supports loads up to 22 lb, while the included fluid head supports loads up to 11 lb and features a pre-set, spring-loaded counterbalance of 5.3 lb. For smooth carriage slides, the slider uses high-precision steel ball bearings and quiet PSU polymer wheels, with an adjustable friction system letting you dial in the right amount of resistance for each slide. The carriage has a maximum travel distance of 18.4". For tripod mounting, the slider has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads at the center and ends of the tripod, which also allow you to attach a variety of optional accessories, such as articulating arms and Manfrotto's Digital Director.
