Impact LKB-RCS overview

  • 1Description

Protect, store, and transport two C-stands with turtle bases, large light stands, boom arms up to 50" long, and a variety of related accessories with the sturdy, black LKB-RCS Light Kit Bag Rolling C-Stand Case from Impact. Photographers will appreciate the spacious main compartment that features a three-sided, dual zipper opening and two heavy-duty fabric fastening, interior tie-down straps for securing gear. The case's 51" interior length makes it possible to place two select turtle bases end to end, as well as accommodate gear that's too long to fit in many other cases.

Carry the case with the dual center straps and contoured ABS plastic interlocking handle, or with the padded haul handles located top and bottom. The case may also be rolled over level ground with the two flush-mounted, user-replaceable wheels on the bottom. Flush-mounted skateboard-style wheels make packing and maneuvering through narrow openings easy. Underneath the case are small skid plates for each wheel, and long rubber feet to help protect the bottom of the case from abrasions and water damage. For strength and durability, the case employs a rigid metal frame and styrene panel construction. The exterior shell is made of weather-resistant 600D ballistic nylon.

    Impact LKB-RCS reviews

LKB-RCS Light Kit Bag Rolling C-Stand Case (Black) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Let's Be Honest.. You're possibly transporting c-stands which are pretty heavy so naturally this bag is only going to last so long. My handle on the side ripped + bottom fabrics is separating and zippers are beginning to look iffy. Mostly this is because of it's flex which can put an insane amount of weight in one specific spot if you don't pack / handle it properly. I'll let you in on a secret which will save you money upfront and in the long run: Buy a Plano Rifle 54in Hard Case.. Durable, no zippers, side and top handles, multiple locks, locking points, foam inserts if you need, fits two c-stands and multiple accessories with ease and possibly more. Mine cost around $140 :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Work as advertised The really helps you move the C-stands from place to place easier. We use to transport our C-stands in the Tenba T538 carry bags but after you put 2 C-stands and a few extension arms in each bag carrying bag it gets old quick. With the 2 C-stands sets this case is still heavy to lift, but the wheels really help moving the stands from place to place on even surfaces. There are handles on each end. A 2 man crew would have no problem managing this case. They seem to be built well. We own other Impact LED light bags and they have held up very well. We would have giving it 5 stars but the sides don't seem strong enough to be stackable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service After receiving this product, loading it for the first time one of the internal straps pulled out. I thought it was broken and reflected that in my review. The company called me a few days later, sent me a new case and a pre-paid shipping label to send the other case back. Packing up the first case, I discovered the strap was not even broken. It was attached to an inner buckle with velcro and that is what came loose (I previously had another brand of this case where the inner straps were sewn in). The wheels work great and the case is about 6 inches longer than other brands

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A compact, decent rolling bag A well-made back with solid wheels and enough padding, and rubber reinforcements strips on the back. Just big enough to hold 2 Impact C-stands. It is narrow but big enough. I would have given it 5-stars if the zippers were more solidly built and if the 2 handles held together more reliably (the 2 grips are rubber and interlock into 1 handle, but under the weight of the bag they easily pull apart, making it slightly harder to carry. Apart from that, I'm pleased with the bag and it's much easier to carry the stands in the wheeled bag than loose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case This case is big enough to carry my 3 connecting 12' Manfrotto stands along with several umbrellas, softboxes and even some sandbags. Or, it will easily fit my c-stands with turtle bases with umbrellas and sandbags as well. I kept a long piece of the cardboard it was shipped with to keep things separated and to keep the stands from rubbing on each other or other gear. It's nice being able to roll my gear, especially when I do a location shoot and can't park close. Saves me time when loading and unloading gear by saving me at least one extra trip carrying stuff. This case rolls well even with a lot of weight. The click together handle does come apart if you have to re-grip or if it gets twisted but it's really not much of a problem since I only use the middle handle when loading in my truck or going up/down stairs. This case is sturdy enough to support my tripod attached to it or other small case or such on top while rolling it to locations. The zippers seem pretty durable and allow for fully opening the top for easy access to everything inside. There are also two straps inside to keep things secure. It would be nice to have a couple pockets inside or outside but for the price, this case can't be beat. Very pleased with this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Construction I bought this to transport my mobile portrait setup. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit my somewhat long background stands and all of the light stands I need for this particular gig. Construction is solid, easy to handle while also pulling a very large rolling tool chest I use to keep my lights and camera gear in. I wish it was a little deeper and the carry handle doesn't always stay together, but these are not show stoppers. So, if the manufacturer is reading this, make one a little deeper, please! ;)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from We'll see how long it lasts I like it. I can fit 3 c-stands in it. Wheels roll fine and it gets the job done. But I can tell it's only a matter of time before a handle, zipper, or stitching breaks. I give it a year of normal use for it to bust. I would recommend but like the other guy mentioned, the Plano 54" case is $100 and will DEFINITELY last a lot longer than this. Considering getting one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm not sure I like the case, especially to keep my awesome new Impact C stands in but I haven't had it long enough to decide if it is heavy enough for the road. When it came it had a little sag in the middle which I'm not sure is from being damaged in shipping or if it just has that much flex. My friend has one and it seemed good so I ordered one. So, the jury is still out on this one.
