The Grid from IK Multimedia is a collection of additional sounds and MIDI patterns tailored towards beat makers and electronic music producers. Created and released in conjunction with iRig Pads, it can function standalone or as a plug-in instrument when loaded into the company's free SampleTank Custom Shop, or as a loaded instrument in SampleTank 3 or SE workstations. The collection provides everything needed to make hip-hop, house, techno, dubstep, and EDM tracks, distributed across thirty one-shot electronic drums, twenty construction/inspiration kits, fifty MIDI patterns, and four multis.
