Resembling the ideal camera kit for wedding shooters, David Beckstead's Wedding Photography Kit with Two Canon EOS 80D DSLR Bodies and 16-35mm and 24-70mm Lenses from B&H bundles two of the versatile APS-C format DSLR bodies with a pair of fast zooms to suit working in a wide variety of locations and situations.
The EOS 80D features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 processor to avail high-resolution, fast continuous shooting rates up to 7 fps, and Full HD 1080p video recording at 60 fps, both with notable sensitivity to an expandable ISO 25600 for working in difficult lighting conditions. Suiting stills applications, a 45-point all cross-type AF system is available, or when working in live view, Dual Pixel CMOS AF is able to maintain focus on moving subjects using smooth, natural movements akin to how a camcorder acquires focus. Touch-to-focus control is possible using the integrated 3.0" 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD, which also features a swiveling vari-angle design for working from high and low angles, and built-in Wi-Fi with NFC is also available for wireless sharing and remote camera control.
Included with the cameras are the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens, which provides a 25.6-56mm equivalent focal length range on the EOS 80D. This wide zoom incorporates Ultra low dispersion glass and three aspherical elements to minimize chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range for notable sharpness and image clarity. Also included in the kit is the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM lens, which offers a 38.4-112mm equivalent focal length range on the 80D to suit working in a variety of environments. This lens features Super UD, UD, and aspherical elements to control aberrations and a fluorine coating has been applied to the front and rear elements to reduce smudging and fingerprints. Additionally, both lenses feature constant f/2.8 maximum apertures for consistent performance throughout their zoom ranges and to afford greater control over depth of field for selective focus applications.
