The Trayless 3.5" SATA Hard Drive Hot-Swap Mobile Rack from Icy Dock converts a computer's 5.25" bay into a 3.5" storage bay that enables you quickly install or remove hard drives without opening up the chassis. The rack supports a single SATA-based hard drive and lets you install the drive without using a tray. To prevent unauthorized removal of the drive, the bay sports a 2-segement key lock. Furthermore, the rack has hot-swap support, which enables the system to recognize the drive without rebooting the system.
When compared to the previous version, the MB877SK-B comes equipped with built-in LED indicators that notify you of the drive's status. Another notable feature includes a 40mm fan that draws out heat generated from your hard drive. Moreover, the rack features a silver and black design to match most computer cases.
