Mettle SkyBox V.2 360 / VR Plug-In for After Effects (Download)

SkyBox V.2 from Mettle is an Adobe After Effects plug-in that allows you to create sophisticated 360 sequences in After Effects. It's designed specifically for you to take advantage of the rich features of After Effects in creating 360 sequences. It enables you to tap into all the tools offered in After Effects, including most 3rd-party 3D plug-ins, and create CGI, abstract, and motion graphics 360 sequences, which you can't create with just After Effects alone. No 360 recordings are required. Rather, SkyBox V.2 works directly with your After Effects compositions. It is compatible with After Effects CS6 and higher on Mac and Windows.

SkyBox V.2 consists of two modules: the SkyBox Creator and SkyBox Converter. SkyBox Creator is a script that lets you create an authoring environment conducive to 360 production. Without it, you're just going to see a flat 2D authoring environment in After Effects. SkyBox Converter is a plug-in that does all the heavy lifting, like camera distortion, so you can output to 360 destinations like YouTube360. SkyBox Converter also enables you to convert your compositions into Cubic Cross, Equirectangular, Spherical, and Full Dome formats for compatibility with other software. Cubic Cross, for example, is the related format required for Cinema 4D.
