WaveLab Elements 9 from Steinberg is the all-in-one solution for home producers, musicians, and radio freelancers, who need audio editing and mastering functionality, right through to complete CD/DVD-A production. The software features sample-accurate stereo or multi-track audio editing, combined with effects for sound design, and supports sample rates of up to 96 kHz and 32-bit floating point processing. Its redesigned user interface and the new exchange feature allow for faster workflows, while the MasterRig mastering plug-in suite expands the creative envelope.
The interface contains a central tab area, incorporating the most often used functions and the waveform display. Seamless and direct exchange of audio material with Cubase and Nuendo is available by simply opening WaveLab from within Cubase/Nuendo and using the restoration, editing, analysis, and mastering functions even during the mixing process. After editing and processing the audio file in WaveLab, the file can be updated automatically in Cubase/Nuendo using a single mouse click in.
