The 36" Bladelight 5600K LED Light from Flolight is a unique linear array of high power LEDs that uses a moving lens to offer the user a choice of 20, 60 or 120 degree beam angles. This version of the light has a 5600K daylight balance that can be converted to tungsten if necessary using an available filter.

The Bladelight's unique design allows it to output wrap around light similar to a softbox but with razor sharp rendering without multiple shadows. Flexibility is key to the Bladelight's design; multiple units can be attached end to end or side-by-side to create a larger fixture. This Bladelight ships with a manual remote dimmer.

  • Softbox-like wrap around light
  • High power LEDs
  • Focusable - 3 selectable beam angles 20, 60, 120 degrees
  • Connect end-end, side-side
  • Two slide-in channels for diffusion and filters
  • Included barndoors for precise light control
  • Future Bluetooth Wireless Control Capability
A future app will be released for both iOS and Android devices that will allow for wireless remote control via Bluetooth 4.0. Several Bladelights can be grouped, dimmed, and turned on or off using a simple App that has yet to be developed.

Please Note: This app is not available yet and the release date is currently undetermined.

Bladelight 5600K LED Light (36") is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Light quality but with a drawback I bought three of these, I have been using them for almost five months and I absolutely love them. I use them almost in most of my shoots. It has a great reproduction of light quality and great output reach. It is a hard light and the beam angle is shifted by the lens positions. I find myself using it most of the time with the full diffusion sheet for soft wrap on talents. if you are looking for a hard case for these, I find theKessler Seahorse SE1530 fits perfectly two of these 36 though I managed to fit all three.. okay although the fixture is tough and sturdy and could withstand a lot of beats, the weight of the fixture is a close proximity to the weight of a 4 feet 4 bank kino flo fixture. Maybe it's not a real issue most of the time but it can be for some people. my biggest and only drawbackwith the current version of these lights as of December 2016 is thedimmer controlon the power supply. I have asked flolight a couple of times if a possible upgrade on the current power-supply but with no firm answer as of yet. You have a4 PINXLRcable from the power supply to connect to the fixture, and a cable to connect to the power supply and to the power outlet, which is absolutely great and not a problem at all and i have no problem with the weight though some others do!! but the dimmer control is hanging out off the power supply through a thin cable. The dimmer cable is so flimsy that i feel it could get snapped out any moment. I have no idea why they just couldn't get the dimmer designed on the power supply. You can dim the light but you can't turn it off, you just have to unplug the light to turn it off!!! seriously what were they thinking!!! all and all the light is fantastic and versatile, but it would have been perfect if it is not for the design of the dimmer. I am hopping they are listening and upgrade that soon
