This B&H Kit combines the HP Z240 Series Small Form Factor Workstation with a 32GB (4 x 8GB) memory module kit and B&H installation services. This HP Z240 workstation is powered by a 3.7 GHz Intel Core i3-6100 Dual-Core processor. The internal SATA hard drive in this computer stores up to 1TB of data and accesses this data at a speed of 7200 rpm. A Slim SuperMulti DVD Burner is also built into this system for reading and writing data stored on optical media. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Pro (64-bit), a Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) license is also included and is available at no additional cost.
For delivering sharp, clear graphics, this workstation comes with integrated Intel HD Graphics 530. Video may be output to an external display using the 3 x DisplayPort video outputs. Other external peripherals may be connected to this system using the 8 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports. Network connectivity may be achieved using the Gigabit Ethernet port and a USB keyboard and mouse is also included.
While this system does natively include 4GB (1 x 4GB) of RAM, that memory is removed and replaced with a bundled 32GB (4 x 8GB) 2400 MHz PC4-19200 DDR4 UDIMM memory module kit. Despite being removed, the native 4GB of memory is included with this turnkey, though it is not installed within the system.
