The KLP-210 from Kirk Enterprises is an Arca-type quick release plate designed specifically for the Fujifilm 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR XF telephoto lens. The plate features a variable lip which can be mounted in either a 30° or 90° angle position to accommodate the shape of your tripod collar. Is this lens plate (Kirk KLP210) compatible with RRS Lever-style clamps?
I selected the screw type RRS clamp, but I think the lever clamp would work as well. The L-plate sits below the camera; the clamp bites the L-plate so the clamp and the screw or lever are on the same plane as the L plate, below the camera, without obstructing any functions. I like the how the L-Plate extends the entire length of camera body so that when I set camera down it is stable. Battery is still accessible. My Black Rapid (or my tripod) screw right into the L-Plate. I think it's easier though to tighten the screw vs the lever which I suspect requires a hand on the tripod as the lever is forced to closed position? I like the screw clamp.
