Combine powerful performance and wireless connectivity with the black 32GB Galaxy Tab S2 8" Wi-Fi Tablet from Samsung. This tablet features a Qualcomm octa-core chipset, which consists of 1.8 GHz and 1.2 GHz quad-core processors, and has 3GB of RAM. This system also has 32GB of built-in storage and adds a microSD slot for additional storage; the microSD slot supports microSDXC cards up to 128GB. For high-speed Internet connectivity, dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with MIMO technology is built-in. Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity is also integrated for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

This Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 features a 8" Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a QXGA 2048 x 1536 native resolution for viewing detailed high-definition content. The onboard front facing 2.1-megapixel fixed focus and rear 8-megapixel autofocus cameras allow you take pictures of yourself and the world around you. There's also a fingerprint reader on the tablet, which allows you to secure the device with the swipe of a finger.

A micro-USB 2.0 interface is onboard for mass storage connections and charging the device; a USB cable and charger are included. The internal 4000mAh battery is designed to offer hours of enjoyment before recharging is needed. The Galaxy Tab S2 comes with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, this operation system is designed for fluid and intuitive multi-touch navigation. This device also features GPS with GLONASS, which allows you to use Google's location based services, including turn-by-turn GPS navigation.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 6.0 Marshmallow overhauls permissions, allowing you to have finer control over what your applications have access to. It also marks the debut of Now on Tap, a context-sensitive update to Google Now that checks your current screen for keywords and then searches for them automatically. Other performance and security enhancements are included as well.
Conveniently view and control the screens of compatible smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S6 directly on your Galaxy Tab S2, so you don't have to put down your tablet while you're working, browsing or watching.
Quick Connect
Start a show on your compatible smart TV and move it to your Galaxy Tab S2 with the touch of a button. Or, send videos and photos from your tablet to your TV to view content on the big screen.

    32GB Galaxy Tab S2 8" Wi-Fi Tablet (2016, Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 198.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ever Clear, fast. I like the new aspect ratio. I had an S2 previously, lost it. Decided I did not need one with my new Samsung spectre 13 2 in 1 with ssd drive (very fast), but ultimately decided I like the convenience of an 8 for quick lookups and it has great apps. Samsung offers HCell app which works better than excel for my Windows excel spreadsheets. It supports for formulas (formulae?). This is the new one with the snapdragon processor and Marshmallow which I also have on my Samsung s5 phone. Super.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little tablet My trusted Nexus 7 was starting to show signs of aging. It was becoming too slow, would crash, and no longer receives the Google OS updates. I needed a small tablet that I can hold single-handed like a book and read in bed / on the couch, and has the screen resolution for me to enjoy the pictures I take and the CPU / memory to keep up with multiple browser tabs, photo editing while on trips, work related apps and more. I was also looking for SD card expansion slot so handling many pictures while on vacation would be easier. One week in, this tablet looks like it's exactly what I needed. I just hope Samsung delivers a stable Nougat update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving my new tablet I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8 tablet which is the 2016 model. It is lightening quick and I use it to play a lot of games (Clash of Clans and Need for Speed for example). Tablet is light and easy to carry. I got a cover to protect it. The tablet can handle multitasking. I like the multiuser ability so that me and my wife can use the same accounts but switch users (kind of like a desktop). It has Android 6.0.1. Battery life is decent can last a day of gaming. The only cons I have is the auto brightness does not work as quick with changes in lighting and that can be irritating. The other con is that the front facing camera is not as good as the new galaxy phones. This can be detrimental for video-calling such as skype and hangouts, but not too bad. I bought it from B&H because of their excellent pricing (299$) and also no tax and free expedited shipping (can't beat all that).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another excellent Samsung product in our family! The Galaxy Tab S2 8" 32 Gig WiFi is a great value. It is fast, has a beautiful display, and in my opinion is very intuitive to use. I also have a Galaxy Note 4, so the very similar interfaces make going back and forth a breeze. I added a 64 gig micro SD card so I have plenty of room for all those pictures and music files that I am used to carrying. I migrated from a Nexus 7" 32 gig when the USB input on the Nexus failed. I was concerned that the 8" screen might be too bulky, but I quickly found that I love it. Bravo, Samsung!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best mix of features & performance I've owned a number of tablets over the past few years, and have had the S2 8" for a few months now. It is built solid, while being very light and comfortable to handle. The screen is nothing short of awesome, and the size is the perfect...large enough for great viewing while small enough for easy carrying around. The 32gb storage leaves me plenty of room for loading apps, and the fingerprint scanner works flawlessly (especially since the android 6.01 update). There is no lag and everything I use loads and runs smoothly. I use mine daily for reading books, watching videos, internet access, games, on-line shopping, and the occasional photo. This is a "daily companion" and I can not think of a single con to this excellent tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little tablet I've had this for about a week now. I got it second hand, but in mint condition. I absolutely LOVE IT! This is replacing an old hand-me-down iPad mini 2 which was very frustrating with its limitations. This tablet is much better. My wife has an iPad mini 4, and she is jealous at the things this can do, and how easily it is done. I have a Samsung TV which works well with this tablet. I will definitely get another Samsung tablet when I eventually need a new one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. I use it for business travel and note taking. I love the compactness, low weight and great screen. As a Samsung phone and PC user, it works pretty seamlessly with my other products. I'm coming from an iPad II. The only shortcoming is the meager battery life, even my ancient iPad's battery lasts much longer. Other than that it's great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Quality I'm giving 5 stars, but I've only had the tablet a week. I wanted to use Samsung Smartswitch, but Google Play said that it was not compatible with my Nexus 10 tablet. Apparently there was some other way to transfer that came up on the A2 and it transferred everything over except for music. Since I use amazon cloud, that was no big deal. I really like the picture clarity and learning the gui is easy because I have an S7 phone. The battery life is a lot better than the Nexus 10 (it's a few years old though). I'm not a geek so I'm reluctant to take some of the Samsung bloatware off. I have not used this A2 to play games (except solitaire) or watch movies. YMMV
