The Binocular Tripod Mount from Hawke Optics is a simple tripod adapter which enables the user to mount a pair of Hawke binoculars to most tripods. The adapter is constructed of solid aluminum and features a 1/4"-20 tripod mount thread and a 1/4"-20 binocular mounting thread. It weighs a negligible 2.1 oz and can be easily stored in your gear bag when not in use.

The quality of the mount itself is ok, but there are well made adapters/mounts that are cheaper out there, including the Celestron one. I bought this since I didn't want to take chances with the compatibility ...etc with my Hawke binoculars. With the roof prism binoculars (which is essentially the only ones they make), these barely fit between the two tubes, and it is impossible to tighten the knob - which wants to bang against the binoc tubes when tightening. Also, the packaging had no Hawke branding on it. So all in all, I overpaid for a not so great Tripod adapter.
