Compatible with both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, this dock is optimized for USB 3.0 and connects to your system using an integrated USB 3.0 Type-B port. Once connected, it provides users with six USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one HDMI port, one DisplayPort, one DVI-I port, one Gigabit Ethernet jack, one 3.5mm microphone/headset jack, and one 3.5mm headphone/speakers jack. Stereo sound may also be output using the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
The dynadock's six USB 3.0 ports may be used for connecting peripherals such as external storage, optical drives, media card readers, printers, and more. Of the six USB 3.0 ports, two of them are equipped with "Always On" (Sleep & Charge) technology, allowing users to charge their USB-compatible devices, such as smartphones, tablets, cameras, MP3 players, and more, even if their host system is in sleep mode or powered off.
Using a built-in video card, the dynadock supports one 4K UHD display at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 / 30p via its DisplayPort or HDMI outputs, while its dual-display mode supports resolutions up to 2048 x 1152 / 60p via its DisplayPort and also through simultaneous use of its HDMI and DVI-I ports. Using just the DVI-I port, one display is supported at resolutions up to 2048 x 1152. There is also a Gigabit Ethernet port for network connectivity and a security lock slot helps to deter product theft.
The dynadock 4K Universal USB 3.0 Docking Station may be used in either horizontal or vertical orientations, while its connectivity options will help users to reduce the overall amount of clutter on their desk.
