Speco Technologies MCDT300A Overview

The MCDT300A Desktop Conference and Paging Microphone from Speco Technologies offers a condenser capsule with a uni-directional pattern. It features an on/off paging button. The 18" gooseneck allows for height and angle adjustment. It includes a 15’ mini XLR to XLR cable with 1/4” adapter and volume control knob. It requires two AA batteries (not included).

These mics are great for out town meeting hall PA system. They sound awesome. They will accept phantom power, but it does not describe that in the instructions....

What type of cabling and outputs are used with this mic? Is there a brain that they need to connect to? Do they daisy chain?

Use a quality standard 3-pin male XLR cable. They do not daisy chain and must be routed back to a PA amplifier or mixer. More specifications: Capsule Type: Condenser Frequency Response: 50Hz 16kHz Impedance (@1kHz): 200 ohms Sensitivity: -42dB3dB Pattern: Ultra-Cardioid Requires two AA batteries (not included)
