The Avenger H800M 8.0 x 8.0' Modular Overhead Frame is not designed to be used as a 4x4' frame.

What is the diameter of the square tubing? In the specs it says 3mm, but I believe they meant 30mm(1.18 inches).
The 3mm can also refer to the thickness of the aluminium. So in this case, it is 30mm square tube with a 3mm wall thickness. You can also get lighter weight tubes which are 30mm square tube, with a 2mm wall. Which is why you can feel the weight of the Avenger frame compared to others (which is good for outdoor use). I am currently trying to get some additional 6 foot lengths of aluminium to be able to make a 6x6 frame and the 3mm wall stuff is harder to find.
