Syrp 0003-0001 overview

  • 1Description

The Pan Tilt Bracket from Syrp allows you to create dynamic 2-axis and 3-axis time-lapse and real-time videos with varied combinations of Genie and Genie Minis. Two individual brackets are included: one to mount a Genie Mini in a vertical orientation onto a second Genie Mini (or Genie), and one to mount your camera. Used together, the two brackets allow you to use the base Genie/Genie Mini to control pan axis, with the vertically oriented Genie Mini controlling the tilt axis. For 3-axis movements, use with brackets in conjunction with a slider-mounted Genie.

    Syrp 0003-0001 reviews

Pan Tilt Bracket for Genie and Genie Mini is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brackets that work The build quality is strong and they work exactly how they say they would. Why three stars out of five? Because Syrp did not include a bubble for leveling out the bottom bracket. This is still a reliable bracket with easy to adjust bolts, but if it had a built-in level, it would be incredible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy yet lightweight device that can performs great Product is great, material seems very durable for any weather conditions. I only use with one Syrp Genie Mini and have been easily able to switch between Panning and Tilting options. No issues with the sequence causing and shakes - even when I adjust shutter for sunrise/sunsets - but make sure your tripod head is fully tightened as even in move-shoot-move mode I had to adjust the timer release to around 600 ms to led the tripod head I was using settle. I haven't used the Panoramic feature put plan to capture one for a Milkyway shot soon. Some of the outside screws do rattle around when the bracket isn't secured together with a genie mini and tripod, so I could see there being a concern for some of the screws dropping out if there is significant wear and tear to the outside plastic caps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great compact setup for pan tilt motion! I use this for time lapse and some video. The small size and the fact that it collapses down along with the rest of the Syrp products makes it nice and compact for travel. The build quality is solid and it works really well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but a little finicky It is wonderful to have a third axis but it is a bit finicky. I had to finagle it a bit to get an RC2 mount on there. Anyway, it works fine but, as any Syrp user knows, sometimes the iPhone control can be a little stubborn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXACTLY what you hope it is... Well made - once attached to two minis - synced as one pan and one tilt the 1st try and every try. Bracket is well made.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It works when there is no wind. This product shakes way too much. If you have any type of wind, the images will be slightly blurry to really blurry.
