I make extensive use of IDX V-Mount batteries in my business - event recording and live-streaming. One battery can completely power a camera rig for 4 or more hours. Even so, one battery is not always enough, so a portable charger like this is sometimes essential. Simultaneous charging is a particular asset, although it takes about 50% longer than with a single battery. I detest external chargers, and this one connects directly to an AC cord. The four-pin XLR port puts out 97W, twice as much as most other chargers, and enough to supply any of my gear, from AC or as a dual-battery source.

Love the simultaneous charging. And it is quick

Very happy with this so far. I charge the new 198 and 150s on this and it takes about 3-3.5 hours. Not bad.

No, the IDX VL-2000S is not designed for wall-mounting and has no mounting points or brackets for secure vertical installation.

can you charge other manufacturer batteries with this charger? specifically Core swx batteries?
